The District 1 Concerto Competition is part of the Florida State Music Teachers Association’s statewide competition program. Hosted locally by District 1, the competition gives students the opportunity to perform concerto repertoire in a competitive and encouraging setting while developing artistry, confidence, and performance skills.
District 1 winners will be featured in a local Winners’ Recital on February 5 and are required to advance to and perform in the FSMTA State Concerto Competition.
